Tracy McGrady's pro baseball debut: not good
Former NBA star Tracy McGrady made his pro baseball debut for the Sugar Land Skeeters on Saturday night.
McGrady is out after 1 2/3 innings in Sugar Land. 35 pitches. 18 strikes/17 balls. 2 H, 2 ER, 2 BB, 0 K. Maysonet HR off of him.— Mike Ashmore (@mashmore98) May 10, 2014
So that comes to a 10.80 ERA for the game. That's not good, obviously. That said, McGrady's a 34-year-old who hasn't seen game action since high school. That he was able to record five outs is at least something.

It remains to be seen whether the experiment continues, but remember that this is the indy leagues, where there's no harm in a novelty act.
