The name of White Sox outfielder Alex Rios has been flying around in trade rumors for much of July, and things intensified Tuesday. A damper may have been put on the trade talk, however, with what went down in Tuesday night's game.

Rios was leading off the top of the eighth against Matt Albers of the Indians when he fouled a ball off his foot. He would exit the game, walking gingerly off the field mid-at-bat. He's said to have a foot contusion and he may be able to play as soon as Wednesday. Still, teams might be averse to adding someone with an injury that could linger.

Rios, 32, is hitting .273/.324/.428 with 12 homers, 49 RBI, 22 doubles and 22 stolen bases this season.

The Pirates in particular were linked heavily in rumors to Rios Tuesday.
