Twins designated hitter Miguel Sano sustained a sprained ankle prior to Saturday's loss to the A’s, reports the St. Paul Pioneer Press.
Despite suffering the injury, Sano still played in the contest and went 0 for 3 with three strikeouts.
Sano was held out of Sunday's lineup at Oakland, reports the Star Tribune. Torii Hunter will hit fourth as the designated hitter Sunday.
