Well this is a new one for me. On Monday, a player in Korea slid into home plate in the ninth inning of a one-run game with the bases loaded, two outs, and the count full. Oh, and the batter was swinging at the pitch:

I guess he just got a really big headstart with the runners in motion on the 3-2 pitch with two outs? Bravery? Or Stupidity?

Baseball in Korea is weird.
