VIDEO: Derek Jeter takes Ice Bucket Challenge, challenges Michael Jordan
Yankee captain Derek Jeter took the Ice Bucket Challenge on Tuesday. One of his nominees? Michael Jordan.
I'm sure've heard of the Ice Bucket Challenge by now, a phenomenon that has helped spread awareness about ALS and raise tens of millions of dollars through donations. ALS is more commonly known as Lou Gehrig's Disease and there is still no cure.
I'm sure there's a perfectly good reason why Jeter did it on the carpet in the middle of the Yankees clubhouse, but I can't come up with one. Either way, it's for a good cause.
And, just to show not everything is about Jeter, here is reigning NL MVP Andrew McCutchen taking the Ice Bucket Challenge:
