Video: Dylan Bundy's ridiculous curve
One single pitch shows why Dylan Bundy is perhaps the top pitching prospect in all of baseball.
We know about the lofty ceiling of Orioles pitching prospect Dylan Bundy. The fourth-overall pick of the 2011 draft has cut a swath through the minors thus far: 79.0 IP across three levels, 1.59 ERA, 96 K, 17 BB, 4 HR. And he's done it all while being significantly younger than his peer group.
All that's impressive enough, but nothing etches Bundy is sharper relief quite like, you know, actually seeing him pitch. So watch as Bundy sets up Royals farmhand Orlando Calixte and then unleashes his wipeout curve to end the AB in helpless fashion ...
That, folks, is a hammer.
