If you haven't yet gotten the chance to admire the impressive throwing arm of Brewers catcher Martin Maldonado, well, you're just letting the best in life pass you by. Still, now is as good a time as any to start.
Saturday night, Maldonado handled this low pitch and made mincemeat of Jonathan Herrera in a stolen base attempt:

Maldonado has thrown out 24 of 75 opposing would-be base-stealers in his career, which is good for 32 percent. It seems like it should be higher, but the league average in that time is 27 percent.
Regardless, that is one mighty weapon Maldonado takes behind the plate with him.
