VIDEO: Jed Lowrie snaps out of ALDS slump in a big way in Game 4
Slumping Jed Lowrie drove in the Athletics' first three runs in Game 4 as he and his team look to advance to the ALCS.
Even though the Athletics came into Game 4 of the ALDS with a two games-to-one lead, it was no thanks to shortstop Jed Lowrie. He went 0-for-12 in the first three games of the series and came into Tuesday with an eyesore of a .140/.255/.163 batting line in 51 career postseason plate appearances.
In the first inning of Game 4, Lowrie snapped that 0-for-ALDS with a run-scoring single through the left side:
Four innings later, he gave his club a 3-0 lead with this two-run homer to right:
Now that is how you snap out of a slump.
