VIDEO: Kazuhito Tadano throws amazing eephus pitch in Japan
Ex-Indians righty Kazuhito Tadano chucked an amazing eephus pitch while pitching with the Nippon Ham Fighters recently.
Does the name Kazuhito Tadano ring a bell? He appeared in 15 games (four starts) for the Indians from 2004-05 and bounced around Triple-A until 2007, when he returned to Japan.
During a recent game with the Nippon Ham Fighters, Tadano broke out this amazing eephus pitch to former Red Sox infielder Mauro Gomez:
How was that not called a strike?! Terrible.
The reactions are great. Gomez was laughing the whole time, the umpire seemed to stare in disbelief, and Tadano was seriously annoyed the pitch wasn't called a strike.
