VIDEO: Kershaw and Sandy Koufax share a moment after Game 4
Following the Dodgers' win on Game 4, ace left-handers Clayton Kershaw and Sandy Koufax shared a neat moment in the clubhouse.
Thanks to a clutch Juan Uribe homer, the Dodgers have advanced to the NLCS for the first time since 2009. The team went for the kill on Monday by starting Clayton Kershaw on three days' rest for the first time in his career, and after the game the team's ace left-hander shared a neat moment with the team's former ace left-hander, Hall of Famer Sandy Koufax:
Eric Stephen of True Blue LA has some more from Kershaw on the exchange:
"He's just happy for us. Sandy is such a great guy. I think he genuinely cares about not only this team but kind of our well being," Kershaw said. "He cares about us. That's awesome.
"I have a great relationship with him. I have a ton of respect for him. To get a hug and get a good job from a guy like that, from a guy that's been there, from a guy that's done this before and was the best at it for a long time is pretty special."
That is pretty awesome, with or without the goggles.
