VIDEO: Philly fans salute Tony Gwynn Jr in first AB since father's death
Sports fans in Philly have a certain reputation, but they did a good turn on Tuesday night.
The Phillies' 7-4 win over the Marlins on Tuesday night occasioned Tony Gwynn Jr.'s first at-bat since returning from the bereavement list. Gwynn of course recently lost his father, the legendary and gentlemanly Hall of Famer, Tony Gwynn.
Here's how the fans showed their support and understanding:
Well done, Philly. Very well done. The gesture, of course, wasn't lost on Gwynn Jr.:
