A's outfielder Chris Young hit a walk-off homer on Wednesday ... at least until Robbie Grossman of the Astros brought it back.
Denard Span of the Nationals wasn't the only outfielder to save a game with a great defensive play on Wednesday. Astros left fielder Robbie Grossman robbed Chris Young of the Athletics of a walk-off solo homer in the tenth inning with a leaping catch at the wall. Here's the video:
That's some catch, and it legitimately saved the game for Houston since, you know, it would have ended the game. Young didn't believe Grossman actually caught it, so he asked the rookie to show him the ball as he headed back to the dugout:
That's pretty awesome.
The Astros went on to win the game in the very next inning.
