VIDEO: Umpire throw accidentally hits Brad Peacock
An umpire hit a pitcher with a throw Friday night. It was accidental, but still at least mildly humorous. Watch it here.
Astros starting pitcher Brad Peacock had a good outing Friday night, picking up the victory over the Angels. Perhaps the most notable part of the rather meaningless -- in terms of the postseason potential for either team -- game, though, came on a foul ball.
That is, what happened after the foul ball:
That's home plate umpire Paul Schrieber accidentally nailing Peacock with a throw, as Peacock appeared to be looking at the umpire yet glanced away at the last second.
Probably not much more than mildly funny, but it's a proverbial "slow news day."
