WATCH: Devon Travis, Trevor Plouffe each hit first career grand slam
Devon Travis of the Blue Jays and Trevor Plouffe each slugged his first career grand slam on Sunday. Here are the two shots.
To this point Sunday, there have been lots of crooked numbers. The Indians and Blue Jays each had six-run innings against each other while the Twins have also posted a seven-run inning. And in each of the aforementioned games, we saw a player hit his first career grand slam.
Take it away first, Devon Travis:
Travis, a rookie, now has seven homers and 23 RBI in 88 at-bats this season. The Blue Jays' pitching staff, however, couldn't hold the lead in a 10-7 loss.
Anyway, Trevor Plouffe later did the same thing:
The Twins are now poised to top .500 after an initially dreadful start to the season.
