WATCH: Pablo Sandoval hits three of Giants' six home runs on Wednesday
For the second time in the last 11 months, Pablo Sandoval had a three-homer game on Wednesday.
The Red Sox tied a franchise record with eight home runs, but they weren't the only team to go long ball crazy on Wednesday. The Giants slugged six homers as a team -- they hit seven home runs total in their last 17 games -- and I think you can argue that six homers in Petco Park is more impressive than eight in Fenway Park.
Anyway, three of those six home runs came from Pablo Sandoval. He had a three-homer game against Justin Verlander and the Tigers in Game 1 of the World Series last year, as you probably remember. Here is Panda's first dinger on Wednesday:

Bonus points for going opposite field not once, but twice.
Sandoval is only the second player with a three-homer game at Petco, joining Ryan Braun. The suspended Brewers slugger accomplished the feat last year. If the league starts testing for brownies and various other pastries, Panda might be in trouble.
