The Yankees, Diamondbacks and Tigers have finalized a three-way deal that will send shortstop to Didi Gregorius New York, Baseball Insider Jon Heyman reports.

Gregorius, 24, is now poised to succeed recently retired Derek Jeter at shortstop for the Yankees. The 24-year-old hit .226 with five triples, six home runs, nine doubles and 27 RBI in 80 games.

The Tigers will receive pitcher Shane Greene from the Yankees, while the Diamondbacks will land pitcher Robbie Ray and infield prospect Domingo Leyba from the Tigers. Greene, 26, registered a 3.24 ERA, a 1.39 WHIP and 81:29 K:BB ratio over 78 2/3 innings of work during his 2014 rookie campaign. Ray, 23, made nine appearances (six starts) in his first season in the majors. He finished 1-4 with a 8.16 ERA, a 1.88 WHIP and 19:11 K:BB ratio over 28 2/3 innings.
