Nationals' Daniel Murphy: Back Wednesday, as expected
by RotoWire Staff | RotoWire

Murphy (hamstring) is in the lineup for Wednesday's game against the Braves, Dan Kolko of MASN Sports reports.

Manager Dusty Baker had deemed Murphy ready to return following Tuesday's game, and Murphy's inclusion in the lineup provided final confirmation as to his status. He will face right-hander Lucas Sims for the first time as he looks build upon his stellar .318/.400/.500 line for the month of September.

Nationals' Daniel Murphy: Back in lineup Wednesday
by RotoWire Staff | RotoWire

Murphy (hamstring) is not in the lineup Wednesday against the Braves, Dan Kolko of MASN Sports reports.

Murphy was scratched from Tuesday's starting lineup with left hamstring tightness, but is back in the fold for Wednesday's affair and batting in the third spot of the order. Over the course of the month, Murphy is hitting .318/.400/.500 with two home runs and four RBI.

Nationals' Daniel Murphy: Will return to lineup Wednesday
by RotoWire Staff | RotoWire

Manager Dusty Baker announced Tuesday that Murphy (hamstring) will likely be back in the starting lineup Wednesday against the Braves, Mark Zuckerman of MASN Sports reports.

Murphy's hamstring tightened up during pregame warmups Tuesday, so Dusty Baker decided to withhold his star second baseman from the lineup. After a night of rest, the manager is confident that the 32-year-old will be ready to re-enter the lineup Wednesday.

Nationals' Daniel Murphy: Scratched from Tuesday's lineup
by RotoWire Staff | RotoWire

Murphy was scratched from Tuesday's lineup with left hamstring tightness, Mark Zuckerman of MASN Sports reports.

The severity of Murphy's setback is uncertain, but he experienced a similar injury last September, so the Nationals were not taking any chances one way or another. Wilmer Difo will get the start at second base in Murphy's place.

Nationals' Daniel Murphy: Will be back in lineup Friday
by RotoWire Staff | RotoWire

Murphy (neck) will return to the starting nine for Friday's game against the Dodgers, Mark Zuckerman of MASN Sports reports.

Murphy missed the past couple days while dealing with a stiff neck, which has seemingly been plaguing the 32-year-old for a little time now, although it hasn't affected his play at the plate much. During his last 14 games, Murphy is hitting .354 with two home runs and seven RBI, and continues to be one of the top offensive second basemen in the league.
