Sittinger was outrighted to Triple-A Reno on Thursday. Sittinger was sent to the minors in mid-September, but he'll now lose his spot on the 40-man roster. The 27-year-old made five major-league appearances this year and posted a 7.71 ERA and 1.50 WHIP in 4.2 innings.... See More ... See Less -

Diamondbacks' Brandyn Sittinger: Takes loss in short outing
Sittinger (0-1) was tagged with the loss Sunday against the Astros after allowing three runs on three hits -- including two home runs -- and a walk across two-thirds of an inning. Sittinger had given up just one run over his first four appearances of the season, but the wheels came off in this one and was tagged with his first loss of the campaign. The fact that he has already allowed three homers in just 4.2 innings in relief is a bit concerning as well.... See More ... See Less -
