Orioles' DL Hall: Done for season
by RotoWire Staff | RotoWire

Hall is not expected to pitch again this season after tests revealed a stress reaction in his elbow, Roch Kubatko of MASNSports.com reports.

Hall has been out since mid-June with what was originally called elbow soreness. He was expected to ramp up his throwing program but will instead be shut down for the year.

Orioles' DL Hall: Shut down two more weeks
by RotoWire Staff | RotoWire

Hall (elbow) is expected to begin a throwing program in two weeks, Joe Trezza of MLB.com reports.

The young lefty has been on the injured list at Double-A Bowie since June 16 with left elbow soreness, and it appears he's still not ready to return to game action. Hall will need some time to build his arm back up, so he's unlikely to be back before mid-August.

Orioles' DL Hall: Dealing with elbow soreness
by RotoWire Staff | RotoWire

Hall was placed on the 7-day injured list at Double-A Bowie with soreness in his left elbow, Jon Meoli of The Baltimore Sun reports.

The young southpaw had an MRI come back clean, but he'll still miss some time after experiencing soreness following his last start Saturday. Hall is expected to be sidelined for at least a couple weeks.

Orioles' DL Hall: Added to player pool
by RotoWire Staff | RotoWire

Hall was added to Baltimore's player pool Thursday, Roch Kubatko of MASNSports.com reports.

Hall is an interesting prospect but has yet to reach Double-A, making him an unlikely candidate to contribute at the big-league level in 2020. He'll head to the team's alternate camp site where he'll continue his development.

Orioles' DL Hall: Joining player pool
by RotoWire Staff | RotoWire

Hall will join the Orioles' player pool, Roch Kubatko of MASNSports.com reports.

Hall's presence in the pool is unlikely to be more than attempt to get him the best coaching possible this season. He's an interesting prospect, but he shouldn't be expected to play a role in the majors this season, as he's yet to reach Double-A.

Orioles' DL Hall: Recovering well
by RotoWire Staff | RotoWire

Hall (lat) is making good progress, Joe Trezza of MLB.com reports.

Hall is working his way back from a Grade 1 lat strain that sidelined him in mid-August. He's not expected to pitch in winter ball but will be able to throw over the offseason, setting him up well for spring training next year.

Orioles' DL Hall: Shut down with lat strain
by RotoWire Staff | RotoWire

The Orioles will shut Hall down for the remainder of the season after he was diagnosed with a Grade 1 left lat strain while pitching for High-A Frederick, Roch Kubatko of MASN Sports reports.

Frederick is expected to place Hall on its 7-day injured list later Sunday, with the 2017 first-round pick wrapping up the Carolina League campaign with a 3.46 ERA and 116:54 K:BB across 80.2 innings. On a positive note, the lat strain is of the mildest variety, so Hall doesn't look like he'll require an extended rehab period by the time the offseason arrives. The Orioles are still leaving the door open for Hall to perhaps pitch during the Arizona Fall League, though it wouldn't be surprising if the organization erred on the side of caution with the prized young southpaw and held him out of action until spring training.

Orioles' DL Hall: Poor control so far
by RotoWire Staff | RotoWire

Hall has started the 2019 season at High-A Frederick, where he's posted a 5.40 ERA and 1.71 WHIP over 18.1 innings.

Hall's control has been the main culprit for his high ratios, as he's walked 14 batters so far. The good news is that he also has 30 strikeouts and has allowed only one homer.

Orioles' DL Hall: Opens with Delmarva
by RotoWire Staff | RotoWire

Hall will open the year at Low-A Delmarva, MLB.com's Mike Rosenbaum reports.

The No. 21 overall pick in the 2017 draft, Hall logged 10.1 innings in the Gulf Coast League last year. The best part of this news is that we know Hall is healthy, otherwise he would have been held back in extended spring training. His fastball and curveball could each be 70-grade offerings in time, but command concerns and the lack of a quality third pitch could result in Hall ending up in the bullpen.
