Sanchez not done yet
by CBS Sports Staff |

Paul Cobbe, agent for Freddy Sanchez, told CSN Bay Area on Sunday that the 35-year-old does not plan on retiring and is hoping to sign with a club this spring. Sanchez has not played in the majors since 2011 due to a dislocated shoulder. He also underwent surgery to remove part of a disc in his back last July. “He’s not looking to hang ‘em up by any means,” Cobbe said. “He’s honest and upfront about where he is and that he’d be a utility guy. But he wants to do that.”
