Yankees' Luis Severino: Listed as Game 6 starter
by RotoWire Staff | RotoWire

Severino (arm) is expected to pitch Game 6 of the ALCS against the Astros on Friday if necessary, Pete Caldera of The Bergen Record reports.

Severino was removed from his previous start after being hit on the wrist by a comebacker. While there was some initial concern regarding the injury, Severino said he felt great afterwards and ultimately wasn't sent for additional testing. He's set to play catch prior to Monday's game, and if everything checks out fine, he should be available to pitch Game 6 -- assuming the Yankees are able to extend the series.

by RotoWire Staff | RotoWire

Holliday is out of the lineup for Game 3 of the ALCS against the Astros on Monday.

Holliday has appeared in just one game of the 2017 postseason, that being Game 1 of the ALCS. In said outing he went 0-for-3. He'll remain on the bench Monday while Chase Headley occupies the DH spot and hits ninth.

Yankees' Luis Severino: Says arm is 'great'
by RotoWire Staff | RotoWire

Severino (arm) said after Saturday's game, "I feel great. I feel 100 percent great," and noted he could have kept pitching, Bryan Hoch of MLB.com reports.

It seems like the Yankees just wanted to play it safe with Severino after he was hit by a comebacker. He should still be considered day-to-day for the time being, but apparently feels 100 percent.

Yankees' Luis Severino: Leaves after being hit by comebacker
by RotoWire Staff | RotoWire

Severino was removed from Saturday's start after four innings after being hit on the left wrist by a comebacker, Bryan Hoch of MLB.com reports.

A Yulieski Gurriel liner hit Severino on the final play of the fourth inning and manager Joe Girardi ultimately opted to pull the young ace. Tommy Kahnle has entered the game in relief and a further update on Severino figures to be made available later Saturday.
