UFC prepares for a big 2022 event schedule following the company's feverish pace of pay-per-views and Fight Nights in 2021. Championships are at stake, revenge schemes are plotted and opportunities are rife for fresh faces to cement their place as the next big thing.

After Francis Ngannou successfully unified the heavyweight title in a stunning decision win over interim titleholder Ciryl Gane, the promotion sets its sights on February with a slew of fight cards to come. Middleweight champion Israel Adesanya aims to lay the soul of "The Reaper" to rest once and for all when he rematches former champion Robert Whittaker at UFC 271 on Feb. 12. That card will also feature an important contest just below the title level at middleweight when Derek Brunson takes on Jared Cannonier in what could decide the next challenger to the winner of Adesanya vs. Whittaker 2.

Plus, the month kicks off with yet another clash at 185 pounds when Jack Hermansson takes on Sean Strickland on Feb. 5.

Take a look below at the current UFC event schedule for 2022. Be sure to check back in on this page when we have more information on upcoming UFC events throughout the year.
