The 2021 Hollywood Casino 400 will take place on Sunday at Kansas Speedway and there will be seven drivers fighting for the three remaining spots in the Championship 4 as the NASCAR Playoffs wind down. That's because Kyle Larson punched his ticket with a win last week in Texas and has now opened up a 51-point lead atop the NASCAR standings. He'll be on the pole Sunday with the green flag dropping at 3 p.m. ET, but can he get to victory lane after leading 192 laps his last two trips to Kansas but failing to earn a top-10 finish?

You can keep up with the race here with the CBS Sports live blog for the Hollywood Casino 400.

Larson is the 9-4 favorite in the latest 2021 Hollywood Casino 400 odds from Caesars Sportsbook. Denny Hamlin (13-2), Kyle Busch (15-2), Martin Truex Jr. (17-2) and Joey Logano (18-1) all have multiple wins in Kansas and are all near the top of the 2021 NASCAR at Kansas odds board. Developed by daily Fantasy pro and SportsLine predictive data engineer Mike McClure, this proprietary NASCAR prediction model simulates every race 10,000 times, taking into account factors such as track history and recent results.

The model began the 2020 season paying out big by picking Denny Hamlin to win his second consecutive Daytona 500 at 10-1. The model also called Kevin Harvick's win at Atlanta and nailed a whopping nine top-10 finishers in that race. McClure then used the model to lock in a 10-1 bet on Hamlin for his win at Miami.

At the Brickyard, the model called Harvick's fourth victory of the season. Then during the 2020 NASCAR Playoffs, the model nailed its NASCAR picks in back-to-back races, calling Denny Hamlin to win at 17-2 at Talladega and Chase Elliott to win at 7-2 at the Charlotte Roval.

In the 2021 season, McClure nailed Martin Truex Jr. to win at Martinsville for a strong 3-1 payout. The model also nailed Kyle Larson winning the NASCAR All-Star Race at 5-2 in Texas and hit Larson again at the Ally 400 for another 5-2 payout. It also called Chase Elliott to win at Road America for a 5-2 payout and then correctly predicted Kyle Larson to win last week in Texas for an 11-4 payout. Anyone who has followed its lead on those plays has seen huge returns.

Now, the model simulated the 2021 Hollywood Casino 400 10,000 times. Head to SportsLine to see the complete NASCAR at Kansas projected leaderboard.

Top 2021 Hollywood Casino 400 predictions

One surprise: the model is high on Tyler Reddick, even though he's a 30-1 long shot in the latest NASCAR at Kansas odds 2021. He's a target for anyone looking for a huge payday. The 25-year-old made his first appearance in the NASCAR playoffs this season, but has since been eliminated.

Reddick has three top-10 finishes in his last four starts, finishing sixth in Las Vegas, second on the Charlotte Roval and ninth in Texas last week. He's dialed in his setup on 1.5-mile speedways, recording five consecutive top-10s on them this season. That includes a seventh-place finish in Kansas and he's a solid bet to work his way towards the front again on Sunday.

A massive shocker: Ryan Blaney, one of the Vegas favorites at 15-2, stumbles big-time and fails to crack the top 10. There are far better values in this loaded 2021 Hollywood Casino 400 starting grid. Blaney has moved from sixth to second in the 2021 NASCAR standings with top-10 finishes the last two weeks, but Kansas hasn't been kind to him of late.

He finished 21st there in the spring and has now finished outside the top 20 in five of his last seven starts on the 1.5-mile asphalt tri-oval. Blaney does have a win on a 1.5-mile speedway (Atlanta) this season, but he's also finished outside the top 10 three times. That inconsistency with his setup could be an issue again at Kansas.

How to make 2021 NASCAR at Kansas picks

The model is also targeting four other drivers with 2021 NASCAR at Kansas odds of 15-1 or longer to make a serious run at winning it all. Anyone who backs these drivers could hit it big. You can see all of the model's NASCAR picks over at SportsLine.
