Kyle Larson ended his 2021 NASCAR Cup Series championship season in grand fashion, winning four of his final five starts to finish with 10 victories after registering a total of six in 223 races over his first eight campaigns. The 29-year-old will try to begin the new year with a bang when he takes part in the 2022 Busch Light Clash at the Coliseum on Sunday. Larson has posted three top-five finishes in six starts in the exhibition race, which will be the first held at the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum after it took place at Daytona International Speedway for the previous 43 years.

Kyle Busch is the 9-2 favorite in the latest 2022 Busch Light Clash odds from Caesars Sportsbook. Hamlin is 12-1, while Chase Elliott (6-1) and Kyle Larson (13-2) are among the top Busch Light Clash 2022 contenders. The race is scheduled to begin at 6 p.m. ET. You'll want to check out the NASCAR at the Coliseum predictions from Micah Roberts, the legendary Vegas bookmaker who pioneered wagering on racing, before locking in any 2022 Busch Light Clash at the Coliseum picks.

Roberts, a former Vegas bookmaker, was the first to offer expanded NASCAR betting, and now hands out NASCAR winners to his followers on SportsLine. Roberts is the nation's premier NASCAR betting expert, and his top pick, Chase Elliott, won the Jockey Made in America 250 last season.

He also correctly predicted the 2021 Coca-Cola 600 winner, hitting Larson's win at 11-2 odds. The previous week, he was on point at the EchoPark Texas Grand Prix, targeting Elliott as the winner at 8-5 odds. Anyone who has followed his picks is up huge year after year.

Now, Roberts has analyzed the field and odds for Sunday's NASCAR at the Coliseum 2022 race. He's sharing his winner and leaderboard right here.

2022 Busch Light Clash at the Coliseum expert picks

One shocker: Roberts is low on Chase Elliott, even though he's among the top 2022 Busch Light Clash contenders. In fact, Roberts says Elliott, who hasn't won often on short tracks, barely cracks the top five.

Elliott hasn't won a race since last July and failed to crack the top 10 in five of his last 10 races. "He's the face of NASCAR right now," Roberts told SportsLine, but the expert says he ends up in sixth place even though he's the third-biggest favorite.

Another curveball: Roberts is high on Joey Logano, even though he's a 12-1 longshot in the latest 2022 NASCAR at L.A. odds. The 31-year-old native of Connecticut has had considerable success in this race, coming in ninth place or better the last nine years with one victory (2017) and a pair of runner-up finishes in that span. Logano is seeking his first checkered flag since winning the dirt race at Bristol last March.

"He's third among active drivers with a 12.1 average finish on other short tracks," Roberts told SportsLine. "He has five wins on them and has led 2,292 laps. He's the guy at Penske now without Brad Keselowski around."

How to make 2022 Busch Light Clash predictions

Roberts is high on a long shot who is "a rising short-track driver." This driver is being underestimated by oddsmakers, and anyone who backs him could hit it big. You can only see who it is here.
