Kyle Larson will try to become the ninth driver with multiple NASCAR Cup Series victories at Las Vegas Motor Speedway when he takes part in the 2022 Pennzoil 400 on Sunday at 3:30 p.m. ET. The reigning series champion, Larson was runner-up twice in his first nine starts on the track before taking the checkered flag last year. Denny Hamlin, who won the fall NASCAR Las Vegas race in 2021, and Sin City natives Kyle and Kurt Busch (2009 and 2020, respectively) also are seeking multiple wins at the venue.

Kyle Larson is the 7-2 favorite in the latest 2022 Pennzoil 400 odds from Caesars Sportsbook. Chase Elliott is 7-1, two-time winner Joey Logano and Denny Hamlin are 8-1, and Ryan Blaney rounds out the top five Las Vegas Motor Speedway contenders at 17-2. You'll want to check out the NASCAR at Las Vegas predictions from Micah Roberts, the legendary Vegas bookmaker who pioneered wagering on racing, before locking in any 2022 Pennzoil 400 picks.

Roberts, a former Vegas bookmaker, was the first to offer expanded NASCAR betting, and now hands out NASCAR winners to his followers on SportsLine. Roberts is the nation's premier NASCAR betting expert, and his top pick, Elliott, won the Jockey Made in America 250 last season.

He also correctly predicted the 2021 Coca-Cola 600 winner, hitting Larson's victory at 11-2 odds. The previous week, he was on point at the EchoPark Texas Grand Prix, targeting Elliott as the winner at 8-5 odds. Anyone who has followed his picks is up huge year after year.

Now, Roberts has analyzed the field and odds for Sunday's NASCAR at Las Vegas 2022 race. He's sharing his winner and leaderboard right here.

2022 NASCAR Las Vegas expert picks

One shocker: Roberts is low on Chase Elliott, even though he's among the top 2022 Pennzoil 400 contenders. In fact, Roberts says Elliott, who is winless in 10 career starts at Las Vegas, barely cracks the top 15.

"Elliott has shown no consistency in his 10 starts at Las Vegas," Roberts told SportsLine. "Elliott and teammate Larson had some on-track issues last week at Fontana that I'm not sure have been cleared up."

Another curveball: Roberts is high on Chad Briscoe, even though he's a long shot at 50-1 in the latest NASCAR at Las Vegas odds 2022. As a rookie last year, Briscoe finished 21st in this race and failed to crack the top five in his 36 Cup Series starts, but he began 2022 with his best outing on the circuit to date, a third-place finish in the season-opening Daytona 500. The 27-year-old from Indiana has enjoyed success at Las Vegas Motor Speedway in his brief career, winning two Xfinity Series races in 2020 and finishing third in his only Truck Series start there in 2017.

"I must say that I'm impressed with the driving skills he's shown in his first two starts this season," Roberts told SportsLine. "He knows how to find his way to the front and is using everything his SHR Ford gives."

How to make 2022 NASCAR Las Vegas predictions
