Coca-Cola 600 picks, odds, best predictions 2020: Legendary NASCAR expert fading Kyle Busch at Charlotte

Austin Dillon has not claimed many checkered flags since making his NASCAR Cup Series debut in 2011, winning only two of 235 races. However, one of those victories came at Charlotte Motor Speedway in 2017. Dillon will attempt to reclaim glory on Sunday when he competes in the 2020 Coca-Cola 600. The 30-year-old native of North Carolina, a mammoth 125-1 long shot, has recorded just one top-10 finish this season (fourth at Las Vegas), but has a pair of them in 10 career starts at Charlotte.

Kevin Harvick is 4-1 at William Hill, while Kyle Busch (6-1), Martin Truex Jr. (6-1) and Chase Elliott (8-1) round out the top 2020 Coca-Cola 600 favorites. The green flag drops at 6 p.m. ET. You'll want to check out the NASCAR at Charlotte predictions from Micah Roberts, the legendary Vegas bookmaker who pioneered wagering on racing, before locking in any 2020 Coca-Cola 600 picks.

Roberts is one of the nation's premier NASCAR betting experts, and his top pick won the first two races of the 2020 season. In the season-opening Daytona 500, he nailed Hamlin's win at 10-1 odds, and he hit eventual winner Joey Logano at 13-2 odds in the Pennzoil 400 a week later. He also nailed Hamlin's victory in Wednesday's Toyota 500 even though he was oddsmakers' fourth choice at 13-2.

Roberts also crushed the 2019 NASCAR season. Those who wagered $100 on his predicted winner in each of the 40 NASCAR races last year (an investment of $4,000) finished with a strong profit of $2,100. In addition, those who put down $50 on each of Roberts' top four choices in each of those races (an investment of $8,000) were up a head-turning $3,400. Anyone who has followed his NASCAR picks is up huge year after year.

Now, Roberts has analyzed the field and odds for Sunday's NASCAR at Charlotte 2020 race. He's sharing his winner and leaderboard right here.

2020 Coca-Cola 600 expert picks

One shocker: Roberts is fading Kyle Busch, even though he's one of the top 2020 Coca-Cola 600 contenders at 6-1. In fact, Roberts says Busch barely finishes in the top 20.

"He was runner-up twice in the last four races, but I never had the feeling he could win, and he didn't lead a lap in either second-place finish," Roberts told SportsLine. "Plus, he has trouble headed his way, with Chase Elliott sure to try and square things up after Wednesday's incident."

Another curveball: Roberts is high on Joey Logano, a long shot at 10-1 in the latest 2020 NASCAR at Charlotte odds. Logano is tied with Denny Hamlin at two victories this season. The 29-year-old, who was the Cup Series champion in 2018, has posted one win, six top-five finishes and 10 top-10s on this track.

"In 20 career Cup Series starts at Charlotte, Logano has recorded a win in the fall of 2015 and an average finish of 12.5," Roberts told SportsLine. "He scored a career best with a runner-up in this race last season."

How to make 2020 NASCAR at Charlotte predictions

Roberts also is high on a surprising dark horse, feeling "it's his destiny to win." This driver is being underestimated by oddsmakers, and anyone who backs him could hit it big.

So who wins the Coca-Cola 600 2020? And which dark horse stuns NASCAR? Visit SportsLine now to see the 2020 NASCAR at Charlotte leaderboard from the nation's premier NASCAR handicapper, and find out.
