Two weeks ago, the NASCAR Cup Series brought the speed for the FireKeepers Casino 400 at Michigan International Speedway. Now, after a week off, the series will feature plenty of twists and turns in Sunday's 2019 Toyota/Save Mart 350 at Sonoma Raceway. The first road race of the season starts at 3 p.m. ET, and with new engine packages in place, Sunday's race should feature plenty of excitement. Seven drivers are listed at 10-1 or lower 2019 NASCAR at Sonoma odds. The latest from Vegas has Kevin Harvick, who won on this track in 2017, at 7-2 Toyota/Save Mart 350 odds, with Martin Truex Jr., who was victorious at Sonoma in 2018 and 2013, at 9-2. Kyle Busch, who leads the Cup Series with four wins in 2019, joins Chase Elliott and Clint Bowyer at 6-1. With so many variables in play and so many past winners on the track, you'll want to see the latest NASCAR predictions from handicapper Micah Roberts, the legendary Vegas bookmaker who pioneered wagering on racing, before making any 2019 NASCAR at Sonoma picks.

Those who have wagered $100 on Roberts' NASCAR picks for each of the 20 races in 2019 are already up $1,700. It started with the very first race, as Roberts went with Jimmie Johnson as a hefty 25-1 long shot at the season-opening Advance Auto Parts Clash. The result: Johnson survived a huge crash and went on to win the rain-shortened race as Roberts' followers raked it in. At the TicketGuardian 500 in Phoenix, Roberts nailed Kyle Busch at 4-1 odds over the heavily favored Harvick, and at Dover he got Truex Jr. at 8-1 odds. Truex won the race despite starting at the back of the field.

Roberts' top 20 leaderboard has been on top of it, too. For the TicketGuardian 500, he nailed an eye-popping eight of the top 10. At the Auto Club 400, he had nine of the top 10 correct.

Roberts entered the 2019 NASCAR season after finishing big-time in the black in 2018. Those who wagered $100 on each of his picks last year have $1,750 in profit to show for it. His biggest wins came when he went against the grain, taking Brad Keselowski at 12-1 to win the South Point 400 at Las Vegas in the opening race of the NASCAR playoffs and going with Logano, also 12-1, to take the First Data 500 at Martinsville. He also nailed four of Harvick's nine series victories and three of Busch's nine wins. Anyone who's following his picks is up huge year after year.

Now Roberts has analyzed the field for Sunday's Toyota/Save Mart 350 at Sonoma Raceway. His winning pick and top-20 leaderboard are available at SportsLine.

One shocker: We can tell you that Roberts is fading Logano, whose best finish at Sonoma was third in 2016. In fact, Roberts says Logano doesn't even crack the top 10. Logano's average finish on road courses last year was 22nd, and his average finish at the Northern California track is 13th in 10 trips.

"His best Sonoma finish was a third place in 2016 and he registered his only road course win at Watkins Glen in 2015," Roberts told SportsLine. "His 10-1 NASCAR at Sonoma odds are too low, all things considered. There are other drivers with considerably more value on the board at Sonoma for Sunday."

Another surprise: Roberts is high on Daniel Suarez, a mammoth 25-1 longshot whom Roberts says offers plenty of value. His best finish at Sonoma is only 15th, but this will be his first time driving there for Stewart-Haas Racing. His deep background on road tracks and the experience of his team make Suarez a strong value at his 2019 Toyota/Save Mart 350 odds.

"He grew up karting in Mexico and his skills give him an edge against most drivers who grew up racing on ovals," Roberts said. "This will be his first chance on a road course driving for Stewart-Haas Racing, who put out formidable cars for Harvick and Bowyer. He's among the best values on the board this week."

For the win, Roberts is high on a driver who's going off with double-digit odds, but who absolutely dominates road courses. Vegas is completely overlooking him, but Roberts is all-in. You can only see who to back at SportsLine.
