Poor weather leading up to the 2023 Würth 400 has led to the cancellation of qualifying and postponement of the race, but the green flag will finally fly on Monday at Noon ET. The NASCAR Cup Series is returning to Dover Motor Speedway, also known as the "Monster Mile," a track that's been friendly to Hendrick Motorsports in the past: The team has won 22 races there all-time, including victories by Alex Bowman and Chase Elliott over the last two years.
This time around may be different for Hendrick, however. Bowman will miss the race after suffering a fractured vertebra in a sprint car crash this week, and only one Hendrick driver -- William Byron in eighth -- will start in the top 10 after rain washed out qualifying.
The qualifying washout served Kyle Busch well, as he'll start on pole less than a week after stealing a double overtime victory in the GEICO 500 at Talladega. In his first year with Richard Childress Racing, Busch has excelled with two wins -- tying Byron and Kyle Larson for the most in the Cup Series -- to go along with three top fives and five top 10s.
Ross Chastain is hoping to enter the win column for the first time this season, and he may be at exactly the right track to do so. The Trackhouse Racing driver put together a strong performance at Dover last year, leading 86 laps en route to a third-place finish.
The Würth 400 begins at 12 p.m. ET on Monday with coverage on FS1 and streaming on fuboTV (try for free).
