The Spurs are one win away from moving on in the 2026 NBA Playoffs. San Antonio blew out the Timberwolves 126-97 in Tuesday night's Game 5 to take a 3-2 series lead as Victor Wembanyama, on the heels of his controversial ejection in Game 4, posted 27 points and 17 rebounds.
If the Spurs can win Game 6 in Minneapolis on Friday night, they will advance to the Western Conference finals to face the Thunder, who completed a four-game sweep of the Lakers on Monday night. Also on Monday, the Cavaliers used a historic 23-0 run to open the second half in their Game 4 win over the Pistons, tying the series at 2-2. The winner of that series will advance to the Eastern Conference finals to face the Knicks, who swept the 76ers.
