Through 3 Quarters

The Philadelphia 76ers are giving their home crowd exactly what it was hoping to see. Sitting on a score of 93-85, they have looked like the better team out there today, but there's still one more quarter to play.

The Sixers have enjoyed the tag-team combination of shooting guard Seth Curry and center Joel Embiid. The former has 22 points in addition to four boards and two blocks, while the latter has 19 points and four assists along with eight rebounds and three blocks. One thing to keep an eye out for is Danny Green's foul situation as he currently sits at four.

The Brooklyn Nets have been relying on the performance of power forward Kevin Durant, who has dropped a triple-double on 25 points, 11 boards, and ten assists.

What to Know

The Brooklyn Nets will take on the Philadelphia 76ers at 7:30 p.m. ET Friday at Wells Fargo Center after having had a few days off. Brooklyn is expected to win -- but not by much -- so they will need to come into the game prepared for a fight.

The Nets have to be aching after a bruising 127-104 loss to the Milwaukee Bucks on Tuesday. The losing side was boosted by Kevin Durant, who posted a double-double on 32 points and 11 boards.

Meanwhile, it was all tied up 53-53 at the half for Philadelphia and the New Orleans Pelicans on Wednesday, but Philadelphia stepped up in the second half for a cozy 117-97 victory. Philadelphia can attribute much of their success to Furkan Korkmaz, who had 22 points and five assists, and Tobias Harris, who dropped a double-double on 20 points and 12 rebounds.

Philadelphia's win lifted them to 1-0 while Brooklyn's defeat dropped them down to 0-1. We'll see if Philadelphia can repeat their recent success or if the Nets bounce back and reverse their fortune.
