The 2025 NBA Playoffs continue Tuesday, April 29, with four games on the schedule. The Boston Celtics, New York Knicks and Indiana Pacers all have opportunities to close out their respective series at home, while the Denver Nuggets attempt to gain a 3-2 edge on their home floor when they play the Los Angeles Clippers. Sports fans looking to make a wager on the action can do so using the latest BetMGM promo code. Here's how those interested can sign up for the offer.

How to claim BetMGM promo code

This is a promotion for new users only. In order to claim the bonus code, follow these steps.

  1. Click "Claim Bonus" on this page, which will direct you to BetMGM
  2. Create a BetMGM Sportsbook account and enter your name, address, email, payment information and other details. You must be of legal age in a state where BetMGM operates.
  3. Enter the promo code CBSSPORTS
  4. Deposit $10 or more
  5. Make your first bet at any odds

BetMGM offers bet insurance for new users' first wager with the promotion. If your first bet loses, you receive your wager back in the form of bonus bets. BetMGM's offer covers up to $1,500 for a new user's first bet, and to be eligible for the full amount, your first bet would have to be at least $1,500.

If a user's first bet is $50 or lower and loses, he or she will receive one bonus bet token equivalent to the wager placed. If the bet is for more than $50 and loses, users receive five bonus bet tokens, each worth one-fifth (20%) of that first bet. For instance, if you were to bet $1,500 and that bet loses, you would get five $300 bonus bet tokens.

Bonus bet tokens expire seven days after they're credited to your account. Additionally, if you place a bet with bonus bet tokens and win, you receive only the winnings and not the stake back.

NBA Playoffs preview for April 29

The Knicks managed to win two games in Detroit to set up an opportunity to close out the Pistons at home in Game 5. Jalen Brunson suffered an injury scare late in Game 4 but managed to return to the contest to help New York close out a close 94-93 win. The defending champion Celtics are also looking to end their series when they host the Orlando Magic in Game 5. After falling short in Game 3, Boston put forth a commanding defensive effort to win Game 4 107-98. Jayson Tatum, who missed Game 2 with a bone bruise, followed up a 36-point showing in Game 3 with 37 points and 14 rebounds in Game 4. Boston's star forward appears to be turning things on at the right time and should be in line for another strong showing in Game 5. The Celtics and Knicks would meet in the second round of the playoffs should they win their respective series.

Indiana got a 129-103 win over the Milwaukee Bucks in Game 4, though the Pacers did benefit from Damian Lillard suffering an injury in the contest. Last year's conference finalists now have a chance to wrap up the series at home, where they won the first two games of this series and were 29-11 overall during the regular season. The Bucks are hoping Giannis Antetokounmpo, who is averaging 33.8 points and 14.3 rebounds per game, can deliver another monster effort to send the series back to Milwaukee for Game 6.

The Nuggets and Clippers are locked in at 2-2 after Aaron Gordon's dunk off a Nikola Jokic airball beat the buzzer to give Denver a Game 4 win on the road. Jokic had a clutch basket to give the Nuggets a lead on the possession before Gordon's dunk and finished Game 4 with 36 points, 21 rebounds and eight assists. The three-time MVP will look to deliver another massive stat line in Game 5 at home to try to send the 2023 champions up 3-2 going back to L.A. for Game 6.
