Josh McRoberts has been fined $20,000 for his forearm/elbow to LeBron James' throat, the NBA announced Thursday. Along with the fine, the league upgraded McRoberts' common foul to a Flagrant 2, which would've resulted in an ejection.
The play happened with under a minute left in the fourth quarter, but McRoberts remained in the game and the foul wasn't even reviewed. In truth, he's lucky to escape a suspension for the foul.
LeBron drained both free throws and the Heat went on to take a 2-0 lead, 101-97.
