Cleveland Cavaliers forward Kevin Love was diagnosed with a concussion after leaving Game 2 of the NBA Finals vs. the Golden State Warriors after suffering this blow to the back of the head from Harrison Barnes. (Draymond Green then proceeded to score a layup around him and then flex while Love continued to lie on the floor.)

Love finished the half after the medical staff checked him for a concussion, but in the second half, he looked confused and disoriented before checking himself out and leaving for the locker room.

Love will have to go through the concussion protocol, which involves a 24-hour symptom free requirement before motor skill and cognitive testing takes place to clear him. It's going to be difficult to get him cleared in time for Game 3 on Wednesday even with an accelerated schedule. Cavs coach Tyronn Lue said postgame that Love is right now day-to-day and that he is unsure who would replace him in the starting line up if he does have to miss the next game.
Love missed the Finals last year after suffering a shoulder injury, and had produced a good postseason with his scoring in the first three rounds.
