Through 3 Quarters
The Cleveland Cavaliers were expected to win this one, and they are just one quarter away from fulfilling that expectation. They have unwrapped a big 118-78 lead against the Toronto Raptors after three quarters.
Power forward Kevin Love has led the way so far for the Cavaliers, as he has shot 6-for-9 from beyond the arc and has recorded 22 points and nine rebounds. Love is close to surpassing his season high of 23.
Small forward Yuta Watanabe (22 points) and power forward Chris Boucher (20 points) have been the top scorers for Toronto.
Cleveland's lead is the biggest they have had this year going into the fourth quarter.

What to Know
After a few days' rest for both teams, the Toronto Raptors and the Cleveland Cavaliers will meet up at 6 p.m. ET Dec. 26 at Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse. Toronto will be strutting in after a win while Cleveland will be stumbling in from a loss.
While not quite a landslide, the matchup between the Raptors and the Golden State Warriors last week was still a pretty decisive one as Toronto wrapped it up with a 119-100 victory at home. Toronto's point guard Fred VanVleet did his thing and shot 6-for-10 from beyond the arc and finished with a double-double on 27 points and 12 assists in addition to seven rebounds.
Meanwhile, Cleveland came up short against the Boston Celtics this past Wednesday, falling 111-101. Small forward Lauri Markkanen had a pretty forgettable game, finishing with only seven points on 2-for-12 shooting in his 32 minutes on the court.
Toronto is expected to lose this next one by 8.5. They might be worth taking a chance on against the spread, however, as they are currently on a four-game streak of ATS wins.
The Raptors' win brought them up to 14-15 while the Cavaliers' defeat pulled them down to 19-13. A couple numbers to keep in mind before tip-off: Toronto comes into the contest boasting the third most steals per game in the league at 9.14. Less enviably, Cleveland has allowed their opponents an average of 8.9 steals per game, the second most in the league. In other words, they will need to work extra hard to take care of the ball.
