Jack was diagnosed on Oct. 14 with chondromalacia in his knee, which is a fancy way to say the cartilage on the underside of the patella is inflamed/irratated.
He's actually returning a little earlier than scheduled as his timetable was 10 days. The issue isn't likely to bother him throughout the season, but there is always the chance for it to flare up again. So it's something to watch.
Jack signed with the Cavs over the summer as a free agent to serve as their likely sixth man.
