Chris Bosh expected to start Game 3 against Knicks
Chris Bosh will start Game 3 for the Heat after flying to Miami in the middle of the night.
To Miami and back again.
That's what Chris Bosh pulled off Thursday as he flew to Miami in the middle of the night for the birth of his son, and then jumped on a plane back to New York and will start Game 3 against the Knicks.
Heat coach Erik Spoelstra said, "Chris' plane has landed so he's on the way to the arena with the intention to play."
Bosh obviously could be a touch fatigued, but he flew rountrip on a private jet to Miami and back to New York. So it's not like he was crammed in an aisle seat and had to go to baggage claim.
As of this posting, his plane has only landed, so he still has to get to the arena. Which in New York City, that isn't a small task.
The Heat lead the Knicks 2-0 in the series. Bosh is averaging 15.0 points and 5.0 rebounds in the playoffs.
