While there is still plenty of basketball left to be played before we reach the NBA Finals, one prominent national radio personality has already jumped off of the Golden State Warriors bandwagon following Kevin Durant's knee injury.
As you can see from the video clip above, courtesy of Fox Sports 1, Colin Cowherd has called his shot and he believes that the Warriors will lose the No. 1 overall seed in the Western Conference playoff race and that will ultimately cost them an opportunity to reach the game's highest stage for the third straight season.
Should Cowherd's prediction come to fruition, he believes that the potential road that Golden State would have to travel would be far too much for them to navigate with Kevin Durant coming off of an injury as the Oklahoma City Thunder, Los Angeles Clippers and San Antonio Spurs would all have something to prove against the Warriors.
Whether Cowherd is right or not, the final month and a half of the regular season should be very exciting as these Western Conference powerhouses jockey for position in the standings.
