Dwyane Wade sells sitcom, 'Three the Hard Way'
Dwyane Wade had sold a sitcom to Fox called "Three the Hard Way." Seriously. For real.
Dwyane Wade had sold a sitcom to Fox called "Three the Hard Way." Seriously. For real. I think the show's first joke is that it's even being made.
The main character will be named "Daryl Wade," who is an NBA superstar raising two sons as a single parent.
Here's how a press release describes the show: "[Wade] and his entourage of eccentric friends, find themselves parenting by committee, when he gets full custody of his two young sons. It's a recipe made for disaster, but no matter how misinformed, misguided, or unfit Team Wade may be, they have a trump card that can't lose. It's called love."
I feel like that summary is a parody of a parody. They have a trump card that can't lose... it's called love. Oh man.
Of course, Wade wears No. 3, has won three championships, and with him and his two sons, they make a family of three. Get it? You get it.
Via ESPN.com, the plot follows Wade's book "A Father First," which was released last year where he talked about raising his two sons, Zaire and Zion, who he has had sole custody of since 2010.
