Eye on Basketball Podcast: Goodbye, 2013

This is the last Eye on Basketball podcast of 2013, so we make sure to do what we do best on this show -- we go off on tangents and rant about basketball. Matt Moore joins me to finish of the year by starting off with discussing the foul on Kevin Love that wasn't a foul until the NBA said it should have been a foul. Did the Minnesota Timberwolves get screwed or did the Dallas Mavericks still deserve the win even though they got away with one at the end? Why were people so quick to say it wasn't a foul?

Then we start trying to figure out which Western Conference teams could end up representing the conference in the Finals if the San Antonio Spurs and Oklahoma City Thunder don't come through on being the favorites in the West. Do the Golden State Warriors have enough shot creation to be the lead dogs? Do the Houston Rockets have enough firepower and defense to get the job done? Can we trust the defensive numbers of the Los Angeles Clippers? Will the Portland Trail Blazers prove themselves in the postseason?

We discuss all of this, plus the rumors for Pau Gasol and Andrew Bynum, stand-up comedy, and preview the last games of 2013.
