Ah, a new NBA season is on the horizon. That means players are going to be unhappy with their latest video game ratings.

With "NBA 2K22" set to be released in September, the popular video game series is starting to unveil the ratings for starts in the latest edition. One of those ratings happened to be that of Atlanta Hawks star Trae Young. He received an 89 overall rating and let's just say that he wasn't exactly pleased.

Young wasn't the only one to express his displeasure, as the Atlanta Hawks' official Twitter account even threw some shade at the 89 overall rating.

Young initially received an 87 overall rating in "NBA 2K21" last year, so it is an improvement of sorts. However, the Hawks guard probably does have a reason to be a bit upset.

After all, Young is coming off a year in which he led the Hawks to the Eastern Conference Finals. He put together averages of 25.3 points, 9.4 assists, and 3.9 rebounds while shooting 34.3 percent from three. Considering the season that the sharpshooting guard had, Young blossomed as one of the more talented young stars that the league has to offer.

Obviously, this isn't a final rating for Young in "NBA 2K22." As the season moves along, the ratings will change, so Young will have a chance to plead his case with his play on the hardwood.
