Heat say Beasley not injured by self-abuse
Heat says forward required compress treatment due to stray elbow, not from hitting himself in the face.

Heat saying Beasley was elbowed in addition to him punching himself. Beas: "I watched the video and it do look like I knocked myself out."— Joseph Goodman (@JoeGoodmanJr) October 11, 2013
Friday morning, video was released that shows Beasley hitting himself, but reporters indicated the clip doesn't show the extent of the self-abuse.
So maybe Beasley didn't injure himself weirdly beating upon himself. The fact that so many people went "Yup, sounds like Beasley" when they heard the story kind of tells you where he's at in people's minds.
