Through 3 Quarters

Only one more quarter stands between the Milwaukee Bucks and the win they were favored to collect going into this night. Three quarters in and their offense has really been able to impose its will, dominating the Detroit Pistons 90-74.

Power forward Giannis Antetokounmpo has led the way so far for the Bucks, as he has 29 points and four assists in addition to six boards and two blocks. Detroit has been relying on point guard Saben Lee, who has ten points and four assists along with four rebounds, and power forward Trey Lyles, who has 14 points along with five boards.

the Pistons have lost 92% of the time when they were down heading into the fourth quarter this year, so this one seems just about wrapped up

What to Know

The Detroit Pistons have enjoyed the comforts of home their last five games, but now they must head out on the road. Detroit and the Milwaukee Bucks will face off in a Central Division battle at 8 p.m. ET on Wednesday at Fiserv Forum. The Pistons have some work to do to even out the 6-21 series between these two since November of 2015, but a win here would be a good start.

It looks like Detroit got the smaller half of the wishbone at Thanksgiving dinner. They came up short against the Miami Heat on Tuesday, falling 100-92. One thing holding Detroit back was the mediocre play of shooting guard Cade Cunningham, who did not have his best game: he picked up four fouls and turned the ball over four times en route to a 2-for-10, 6-point finish.

As for Milwaukee, they have more to be thankful for after their game against the Orlando Magic on Monday. Milwaukee was completely in charge, breezing past Orlando 123-92 at home. The matchup was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 77-36. The Bucks relied on the efforts of small forward Pat Connaughton, who shot 5-for-7 from downtown and finished with 17 points and six boards, and point guard Jrue Holiday, who had 18 points in addition to six rebounds.

The Pistons are the clear underdogs, so they're hoping it's the size of the fight that determines this one. They are currently two-for-two against the spread in their most recent games, however, a trend bettors might want to take into account.

Milwaukee's win lifted them to 10-8 while Detroit's defeat dropped them down to 4-13. We'll see if Milwaukee can repeat their recent success or if Detroit bounces back and reverse their fortune.
