J.J. Barea knocked out of the Wolves-Raptors game with a concussion

After J.J. Barea made a shot inside during the second quarter of the Wolves-Raptors game in Toronto, he fell to the ground and collided with the leg of teammate Dante Cunningham. The collision left Barea on the ground as play continued. The play happened with 7:26 before halftime.

When the Wolves finally retained possession of the ball, they called a timeout and Barea left the game with a concussion. He walked off under his own power, but the Wolves ruled it a concussion and said he'd be out for the rest of the game.

Considering the NBA concussion policy (even if you don't agree with it in its entirety), Barea will most likely be unavailable to play against the Nets in Brooklyn Monday night.

Barea helped lead the Wolves to victory over the Sacramento Kings Friday night with his 21 points off the bench. He kept up that production during the first half of tonight's game with nine points in eight minutes off the bench before leaving the game.

Barea will undergo further evaluation on Monday.
