Warriors owner Joe Lacob is very confident in his team. As he should be. They're heading to their third straight NBA Finals with a chance to win their second title in three years. However, Lacob feels that this really should be a chance at a 3-peat for Golden State.

With last year's team one win away from a second title following a 73-win season, led by a unanimous league MVP, the Warriors coughed up a 3-1 lead as the Cleveland won their first NBA title. Lacob still feels Golden State was the better and wants to play Cleveland again to prove it.

There is an argument that Golden State was better. Had Draymond Green not been suspended for Game 5, or Andrew Bogut hadn't gotten injured, then maybe the Warriors finish off the Cavaliers before Game 7. But LeBron James and the Cavs played incredible basketball and knocked off the Warriors.

This year, the Warriors look even better with Kevin Durant, but if the Eastern Conference continues as is then Lacob will get his wish and see Golden State get a third shot at the Cavs. Maybe this one will go better for the Warriors, though it still would not change what happened last year.
