The Lakers have a duo of young guards ready to take hold of their backcourt, and they both will seek the tutelage of a two-time league MVP, per the Orange County Register.

Second-year guard Jordan Clarkson and rookie D'Angelo Russell are expected to participate in workouts with former MVP Steve Nash. Clarkson worked out with Nash throughout last season and into the offseason, and is hoping to bring along the second-overall pick in this year's draft, Russell, when he continues to learn under Nash.

Nash retired after last season, and spent three injury-riddled seasons with the Lakers.
