LeBron James donates football uniforms to high school team in Akron

Cleveland Cavaliers superstar LeBron James has had quite the philanthropic offseason. He made big headlines recently by announcing he was going to pay for the full college educations of over 1,000 children who complete his "I Promise" program. Over the years, he's found ways to give back to the Akron, Ohio community by donating money for a gym and football uniforms to his alma mater St. Vincent-St. Mary's High school.

Now, he's spreading that Akron love to another high school. LeBron posted an Instagram photo of new uniform designs for high school football coach Ken Boyd and his Kenmore High Cardinals team. Kenmore High School is a public school located in Akron, six miles away from where LeBron had his storied high school career.

Members of the team posted photos of the new uniforms and helmets, thanking LeBron for the donation.

It was always nice of LeBron to give back to his own high school, but spreading the wealth to neighboring schools in the Akron area is pretty cool, too.
