LeBron's powder toss is coming back
In a promotional thing for NBA 2K14, LeBron James says his iconic powder toss is coming back.
LeBron James has tweeted. The powder toss is coming back.
LeBron, who is the cover athlete for NBA 2K14, Instagrammed a picture of the cover -- where he's posed tossing his infamous powder into the air -- with the following message:
"What y'all been on tonight!?! Cause this what I'm on. I remember playing Bulls vs Blazers and Double Dribble like these are the best(which they were at the time). Crazy to me that I'm on the cover of a video game man! #NBA2K14 #CoverBoy #RealestHoopGame #StriveForGreatness #PowderTossComingBackToAnArenaNearYou"
That's right: Hashtag, powder toss coming back to an arena near you.
LeBron dropped the iconic pregame move as he tried to take a more serious approach to the game following his disappointment in the 2011 Finals against the Mavericks. But now as a repeat champion, LeBron probably feels like he can let his hair down a bit now.
LeBron will have to hurry, though. Last season the league implemented a time limit on pregame activities, so LeBron will have only 90 seconds to go from starting lineups to the huddle to the score table to toss the chalk.
So take cover, first couple rows. You're about to get powdered again.
