Mavs' Dirk Nowitzki gave Conan O'Brien a Texas Citizenship Test
During a week of shows in Dallas, Conan O'Brien tested just how much he's learned about Texas by taking a Texas Citizenship Test from Dirk Nowitzki.
Conan O'Brien did a week of shows in Dallas, Texas recently and was feeling pretty cocky about how well he knows the state of Texas now. Dallas Mavericks' star Dirk Nowitzki surprised the crowd and gave Conan a Texas Citizenship Test in order to late the talk show host prove just how much he knows.
Coming from a "true Texan," as Dirk put it, Nowitzki asked Conan to give the nickname of Texas, the current governor, the founder of Dallas, the largest dome in Texas, leading cause of heart attacks in Texas (skip that one, Cowboys fans), what is over yonder, which two foreign countries Texas borders, a progressive children's book based in Texas, and much more.
Nowitzki could have a real future in this kind of thing.
