Metta World Peace signs in Italy
The Panda's Friend is going to Cantu.
Metta World Peace is going to Italy. The forward, who averaged 19 points and six rebounds per game in 15 appearances for the Sichuan Blue Whales and made the Chinese Basketball Association's All-Star Game this season, has officially signed with Pallacanestro Cantù of the Italian League.
The team announced it on Tuesday, as did World Peace in his own way:

The man known as The Panda's Friend will be teammates with ex-NBAers Darius Johnson-Odom and DeQuan Jones. It is unknown at this time whether or not he has another name change planned. It's also a bit sad that no NBA team signed him. He would've been fun with the Clippers, right?
