Since he is from Canada, the nickname most commonly associated with Andrew Wiggins is "Maple Jordan." While "Maple Jordan" is not a perfect nickname, it seems to be the moniker that has stuck with Wiggins, despite his best efforts to create one on his own.

Wiggins has toyed with the Jordan-styled nickname for most of his life. In eighth grade, he wanted to be called "Junior Jordan."

However, an even younger Wiggins wanted to be known by a different nickname -- Mr. Fantastic.

In 2005, when Wiggins was 10 years old, the original Fantastic Four movie came out. Wiggins may have just watched the movie at the time of this video recording, and like anyone that is young and impressionable, he could've been wowed by the superpowers of Reed Richards aka Mr. Fantastic.

Mr. Fantastic is not a bad nickname for Wiggins, especially since he can stretch over taller defenders and dunk on them with apparent ease.
